Camden Fire Department - A Visiting Firefighter from Great Bend, Kansas

This page and the other pages in this series are the successors to the series of web-page about the Camden Fire Department that began with the page Camden Fire Department: The Fires of the Summer of 2011. On this and other pages in the series you will find pictures and information regarding different events and aspects of the fire service in Camden, New Jersey.

In June I passed through Great Bend, Kansas where I met Kevin Stansfield, a member of the Great Bend Fire Department and a native of New Jersey. We made it a point to get together when he came back this way to visit family, and took the opportunity to come into Camden and visit. We had limited time and only caught one run, a road hazard on North 3rd Street under the Ben Franklin Bridge, where a car leaked gasoline.
